Bush Shelter

Bush Shelter
1. Stop.Think.Observe.Plan. that is what S.T.O.P stand's for.

2. When you are out in the bush and you want fresh water and you can't find any leave a trail and go find some water in a lake and if it is dirty put it in a drink bottle and leave it in the sun for a while and then it should be fresh. Make sure to drink from waters that are still not running water.

3.when you want to build a shelter make sure to build it on flat ground and away from water and try not to make it in a valley or any deep spaces because that is were animals like to go when it is night so try and make it on a flat surface, and because that is  were the shadows go when it is night so you will be cold.

4. When you want to make a fire make it away from plants and trees because they could catch on fire. So you would make it away from your shelter and away from trees and plants so they won't catch on fire. Make sure your match is dry so it would light the fire.

5. When you have got hurt bring a first aid kit and you should bring, bandages, plasters, big plasters, tape, and scissors.

6. y
ou can signal by getting a mirror or other reflective device. you could put it towards the sun and it should make a reflect.

The easy part about this was doing number 2 because I know what to write and what to do.

The hard part was doing number one because I did not know what
S.T.O.P means but now I do.

I learned that you can signal someone by using a mirror or something else. It was really cool.

I rate myself out of 5 I give myself a 4/5 because there were time's that I wanted to stop by I knew I needed to get it done with.

But overall I did my best to get a gold badge because I keep aiming to get one so hopefully I get a gold badge.
