My Term 2, 2020 Reflection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is basketball because I was learning new stuff about it like using my fingertips to bounce the ball not your palm. The hard part of it was going under the legs but Jessica came in and helped me go under the legs and now I think I can do it. The easy part was shooting in the hoop and playing a game at first me and Emily tied then I think I won two more times.





Something that has challenged me this term has been the tennis ball tower challenge because we only got newspapers, tape, and straws. The hard part was the people I worked with were Alyssa and Josh they were really great to work with but we kept on laughing and that slowed us down. The easy part was putting the tennis ball on the tower but I had to hold the bottom of the tower so it does not fall down in the photo.





The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was doing the egg carton challenge because I made a really cute panda, there was a very long line so then I had to tape the panda’s head and legs on and his arms on too. The hard part was waiting for the paint to dry because we did not have much time to let it dry and there were a lot of people there so I had to let it air dry. The hard part was cutting out the egg carton stuff because there were no scissors left and when I got some it was really hard to cut the carton.





The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was doing the art because it was really fun and I enjoyed it, the easy part was sharpening because I just had to go over the pencil with the sharpie. The hardest part was making the squares even because they had to be something size but mine were even I think when I showed Mrs. M it was even which was great.





An aim I have for my learning is to work with other people and get better at my time's tables because they are hard for me but the number of the day is really helping me to get better at it.
